GENERAL CONDITIONS
BOOKING
A down payment of %50 of the total amount is needed to confirm the reservation. This can be done on the bank account number which will be provided by the company at the reservation request or on the credit card number provided by the customer.
Once the payment done by credit card on the website, the reservation will be automatically confirmed. An email will be sent with all the information about the reservation.
Should the payment be made by bank transfer, customers are requested to send the bank transfer slip within 24 hours of the reservation. Should this not be done, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
Once the down payment verified, you will receive an email confirming the reservation.
The rest of the amount will be paid 15 days before the arrival date.
On arrival day, a deposit will be paid by credit card.
CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT HOURS
Check-in from 15:00 p.m.
Check-out until 11:00 a.m.
If you would like to check-in before 15:00 you should contact Egona Zarautz and we will do our best to arrange for your early arrival, with an extra cost of €20.
All check-ins between 22:00 and 00:00 hours will be charged an additional pay of €30. Between 00:00 and 02:00 the amount will be of €50. This additional payment for late arrivals will be charged with the deposit on arrival when keys are also handed.
Customers will be contacted by the Egona staff to confirm an aproximate arrival time. On the arrival day, customers need to contact the Egona person in charge 30 minutes before arrival, so he/she will be waiting for you at the accomodation.
Once there, they will explain the basics and will answer any queery.
Once the deposit paid you will be handed the keys. The deposit can only be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard)
The deposit will be totally or partially held when damages caused by customers have been observed.
The refund of the deposit will take between 3 and 5 days, once the accomodation checked, and will be made on the same credit card.
CAPACITY
The appartment maximun allowed capacity is shown on its detail sheet. Children and adults are all comprise, except for babies sleeping in cradles. The number of children and adults can´t exceed the figure shown on the sheet.
Failure to complying with this, may result in Egona Zarautz requiring the vacation of the premises immediately and the termination of the contract without the traveler having the right to ask for any kind of compensation and being still obliged to the payment of any amount still pending.
BOOKING MODIFICATION POLICY
All booking modifications of dates or cancellations must be done through our email (info@egona.eus). Any modification or cancellation made by telephone will not be accepted.
If due to circumstances beyond our control (breakdowns, floods, fire or other major reasons or force majeure) the contracted apartment could not be offered to customers, Egona Zarautz could suggest another similar one. In case the customers would not agree to this changement, they will be able to cancel the reservation and be refunded. Egona Zarautz will not assume any further liability for the cancellation.
BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of cancellation before 16 days of the arrival, the customer will be refunded.
Should the cancellation take place within 15 days of the arrival or travelers don´t turn up on arrival day, they will have a penalty for %100 of the booking.
There will be no refund for voluntary early departures.
HOUSE CODE BEHAVIOUR
Smoking in the appartment is not allowed, except on terraces, balconies or in the garden.
Parties or social events are not permitted. Resting hours are from 22.00h to 09.00h. The appartments are located in residential units, so neighbours must be respected. Customers being on holiday, residents continue with their day to day lives and have right to their sleeping hours. This is utterly important to us and we really appreciate your cooperation. Were the police called by the neighbours for partying, loud music, etc. this may result in inmediate eviction.
Pets are not allowed in most of the appartments. In case you would like to stay with your pet, ask in advance for availability.
The appartment must be well kept, any damage caused by misuse will be assumed by the costumer and discounted from the deposit. Neither Egona Zarautz nor the owner will be responsible for any damage caused by misuse from any of the guests.
By booking from Egona Zarautz, the customer accepts all the aforementioned general terms.
CLAIMS AND COMPLAINTS
Egona Zarautz places its complaint form at the customers’ disposal. Travelers are also welcomed to send their suggestions, claims and complaints to the following email address: info@egona.eus
MODIFICATION OF GENERAL TERMS
Egona Zarautz can revise and modify these General Terms, totally or partially, at any time and these will apply to all the reservations made after the modifications have been published on the website.
