How to make a reservation?

To confirm the reservation, it is necessary to make an advance payment of 25% of the total, in the account number that would be provided at the time of the reservation request or provide the details of a bank card and the expiration date of the same. The reservation will be pending for 3 days, after sending this email, during which the dates will be blocked.

After this period, if the reservation payment has not been made, the dates will be unlocked. The rest of the amount will be paid once you come to the accommodation, by which ever method is most convenient for you e.g., by bank transfer, card, in cash…. On the day of reception, the required amount will be paid as a deposit, by card.

 If you wish to occupy an accommodation before 3:00 p.m., you must contact Egona Zarautz and we will try to organize your entry earlier. All receptions that take place between 22:00 – 00:00 have a supplement of €15 Between 00:00 – 02:00 it will be €30 The supplement for arrival outside of hours will be charged at the time of delivery of the keys along with the deposit.

Egona staff will contact you to confirm an approximate time of arrival. The day of your reservation 30 min. Before arrival you will communicate with the contact person to wait for you in the accommodation.

 Once in the accommodation, the operation of any questions you may have will be explained to you. Once the security deposit has been paid, you will be given the keys to the accommodation. The deposit can only be paid by credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Likewise, the deposit will be withheld, totally or partially, when damage to the accommodation caused by the client is verified. The deposit will be returned between 3 and 5 days once the apartment has been verified, on the same card.


The maximum capacity is indicated in the apartment file. For the calculation, both adults and children are taken into account, with the exception of babies or children who sleep in a crib. The number of children and adults cannot exceed the number of the said occupation. If the client does not comply with this rule, Egona Zarautz reserves the right to demand the immediate termination of the accommodation without the client being able to request compensation of any kind for the execution of this measure and be obliged to pay the pending amount if required.

Changes in length of stay

All cancellations or changes in the duration of the stay must be made in writing via email. Cancellations or changes by phone are not accepted. Changes will be accepted as long as the availability of the accommodation allows it. If due to circumstances beyond Egona Zarautz (breakdowns, floods, fires or any other cause of force majeure) the agreed accommodation cannot be offered to the client, Egona Zarautz may offer another accommodation with similar characteristics. In the event that the client does not agree with the proposed accommodation, he may cancel his reservation and obtain a refund of the amount he had paid. Egona Zarautz will not assume any other responsibility for the cancellation.

Cancellation policy

In case of cancellation of the reservation, less than a month before entering the accommodation, that is, 30 days before arrival, the advanced amount will be lost.

Accommodation Rules

Smoking is not allowed inside the accommodation, but on the terrace, balconies or in the gardens. Parties or events are not allowed. Rest hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. The accommodations are located in residential buildings, and you have to respect the neighbors. Even if you are on vacation, the residents go about their day-to-day activities and need a night’s rest. We appreciate your collaboration on this issue, as it is of great importance to us. If a neighbor complains and/or calls the municipal police, due to loud music, parties… it is reason enough to proceed with the eviction. Pets are not allowed.

It is mandatory to take care of the accommodation, any damage caused by misuse will be assumed by the guest and deducted from the deposit. Neither Egona Zarautz nor the owner are responsible for any type of damage that may be caused by misuse by any of the guests. The client, when making a reservation with Egona Zarautz, implies that he accepts all the general conditions mentioned.
